Reducing our Carbon Footprint

Posted on:

The NHS in England has recognised that the climate and ecological emergency is a health emergency and as a result, has committed to reach net-zero by 2040. To achieve this, every part of the NHS must take an active role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions

We’re helping reduce Dorset’s carbon footprint by installing PV solar panels at Abbey View Medical Centre, part of The Blackmore Vale Partnership.

Our project has been part funded by Low Carbon Dorset as part of the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund and will save 17.9 tonnes of CO2 a year!

We thank Low Carbon Dorset and the UK Government Shared Prosperity fund for their support with this project.
